ホームセンターの配達車が義実家のかぶりの松の枝を折った。

一応謝りに来たけど「弁償すればいいんでしょ？」との口振りに義父が激怒。
「じゃあそっちの手配する植木屋さんでいいから、同価値相当の松に植え替えろ」と義父。
「そうします」とホームセンター。
連れて来た植木屋さん曰く「同程度の松を探すのは無理」「もしあったとしても無事定着するか保障できない」「価格を付けるのも出来ないが、同程度の松を買うなら、時価で億を下らない」との事。
漸く事の重大さに気付いたホームセンター側は本社重役共々やってきて土下座した。
「始めから、誠意を持って謝罪すればこんな事は言わない。今度からは気を付けろ」と義父。
結局、義実家出入りの植木屋さんが修繕してみて、無事枝が着かなければ、またその時考えると云う事に。
枝は無事着いて事なきを得たけど、ホームセンターの方は最大の修羅場だったろうな。
